For sale is an original USGI Eddystone Model of 1917 Barreled receiver. Sometimes called the American Enfield, M1917, or P17. The serial number dates it to the WWI ERA of 1918.
The finish is EXCELLENT! The bore on the JA barrel is in good shape with tons of life left. Has some nice markings. I have tested all the screw inlets (trigger guard, safety, rear sight spring) and found that they are serviceable.
If you have ever wanted to build one of these old war horses then this is the perfect platform. All the parts to complete these rifles were made in the millions and are readily available.
