Selling Colt Detective Special chambered in .38 Special, six round cylinder, 2" barrel, shrouded ejector rod, Colt factory "Royal Blue" finish and original Colt factory lacquered wood grips.
According to Colt's serial number database this gun is manufactured in 1974.
This gun is in great condition; the finish on the bluing is like new with no holster wear or scratches, same with the wood grips; lacquer is not worn and still quite shiny. Rifling is great and the renowned Colt "bank-vault" lockup is tight as can be (if the trigger is pulled hard on Colt style actions the cylinder won't budge). The gun has been completely reliable; every round has fired and ejected without issue. The only issue is cosmetic with some surface rust on the hammer.
