IF AD IS UP, IT IS AVAILABLE.
One of the most powerful boomers you can buy! Here's a Marlin 450 ported lever with scope. I bought this Marlin 450 some years ago from an Alaska hunter. I had never seen one like it before, and later learned the "ported" barrel ones are very rare and were only made a few years...2000-2002. I have never hunted with it and only reason I decided to sell it now after all this time is because I am buying a new motor for my boat and moving some money around.
It is in excellent condition except for a minor scratch on the left front bluing by previous owner - see picture. All other bluing is excellent, as is checkering and action. Sale includes custom leather (no drilling was required for this leather, so gun has remained original). Also, sale includes 2 full boxes of ammo (very expensive) and a partial box. Sale also includes the original small lever, and the scope as pictured (has clear optics). You'll note it has the original barrel star stamping, and also has the John Marlin (JM) stamp (pictured). It is a beautiful gun and will likely take down anything with limited recoil given the muzzle ports.
$1450 cash and carry ... I MIGHT consider a double action 44 magnum pistol revolver as part trade...let me know what you have and have in mind as far as the dollars go.
$1450 too much for you? I WILL consider offers, OR the following:
$1,450 for gun as pictured; OR
$1,300 for gun without leather; OR
$1,300 for gun with leather but without large loop (I will put original loop back on it); OR
$1,150 for gun without leather and without large loop.
I will also deduct another $50 off if I keep scope and scope mount, so if you just want a bare rifle and ammo (no leather, no large loop, no scope and mount), the cash price is $1,100.
