This is a Marlin model 444 in .444 Marlin caliber, it was purchased new from Wild West guns in Las Vegas NV. For an Alaska moose / bear hunt that never happened due to illness. It was special ordered , The gun has all of Wild West gun parts I.E. big lever, loading gate, hammer spur, bear proof extractor, trigger assembly. The lever was leather wrapped, a limbsaver recoil pad installed, the 22in. Heavy barrel was ported ( it now feels like shooting a 30-30 ). A rail was installed and a Burris 2x7 scope mounted with leupold pwr high rings. The stock has a sleeve installed with shell holder. And comes with foam inserts to adjust cheek placement and a mossy oak sling with silent swivels. This gun is very accurate and dangerous game reliable. I have ammo brass and new loaded ammo available to the buyer. I have shot this gun less than 40 rounds to break in the barrel. Gun will ship in a new hard case.
