Selling this WW1 German Gew.98 (long version of the K98). The gun is matching; all the barrel bands, stock, receiver, barrel, and the magazine and screws. The bolt handle is also matching, but is from another arsenal, indicating this was probably force matched by an arsenal during a rebuild.
The gun was made by DWM in 1916. It has seen use, and is developing a patina. The bore looks good, with strong rifling. The action is smooth, and the gun functions (I have not fired it but I have function tested it)
The rifle comes with a "butcher blade" bayonet (Which are usually 200-300 themselves) and a reproduction sling.
I am located in West Houston. Not really looking for trade unless you have something really unique (and old).
