X-Bolt-Trigger FEATHER TRIGGER The three-lever Feather Trigger provides a clean, crisp pull with no take-up or creep, minimal overtravel and is adjustable from 3 to 5 lbs. (Factory pre-set at approximately 3-1/2 to 4 lbs.) The alloy trigger housing contains hard chromed steel components that are highly polished on all critical contact surfaces. X-bolt-free-floating-barrel. Every X-Bolt action is bedded into the stock at the front and rear action screws and recoil lug for a true free-floating barrel. Barrels are button rifled and triple checked for interior finish, straightness and air-gauged for uniformity. Every chamber is hand-reamed for precision accuracy and a recessed muzzle crown helps protect the rifling from damage.
