AR15 CNC’d Super Safeties all come with a pre cut trigger, rounded detent, cam, and lever. They are heat treated and DLC coated. 4140 steel & Tool Steel only, No cheap BS or plastics.

Difference between the metals: 4140 is decent but typically only lasts 3-5k rounds. S7 and D2 are tool strength steel. The S7’s typically will last 7-8k rounds, and the D2 will typically last 10-12k rounds before it wears out. This why all the big sellers have switched from 4140 to the tool steels. Because the 4140 will wear out in less than half the time. Before 4140, everyone was using 316 Stainless. While 316SS is an excellent with corrosion resistance, it is way too light of metal, and ends up wearing down the cam within 1000 to 2000 rounds. Which is why we heat heat treat and dlc. Tool Steel has proven itself time and time again… 4140 is not a bad choice either, I just wanted to have a cheaper option for people than the S7 and D2.
