This is a rockstead chi, with a true zdp/vg-10 clad blade, the ones currently sold, despite being marketed as clad, are not. I have been in touch with rockstead japan directly.

If you have never heard of rockstead, they are basically the sharpest produced knives in the world, cuts through paper like nothing you have ever experienced.

This knife has only been used on paper some to play with it, basically brand new condition.

The retail price for these currently is $1050 before tax, for a higher serial number, and not clad. That is mineral oil on the blade.
