Rare Collector grade French P1 9mm semi auto pistol, in very good condition, hard to find classic. C&R OK

French, Manufacture de Machines du Haut-Rhin, Manurhin. The West Berlin Police sought to Walther P-38s, but were prohibited from carrying German-made weapons per treaty, after the N azi defeat in World War II. So France started P1 with a production said to be only 2,500 pistols total. The pistols were produced, finished, and proofed in France to circumvent the treaty.
