A vintage B3 style underlever air rifle with beautifully patinaed metal and a very nice wooden stock. The rifle functions and the seals are good.

What makes B3 style air rifles unique is their history as an SKS rifle training aids for the Chinese military. When you have a million-man army, pellets are cheaper to shoot than live ammunition.

The Pioneer brand was in production between the 1960s, and the early 2000s, but unfortunately, I do not know when this particular example was made.

Modern B3 air rifles are still being made to this day by different companies, but they are being manufactured to modern standards. That means some of the parts that used to be made of steel to military specifications are now being made of plastic to commercial specifications.

For example, the front sight, the rear sight, and trigger guard, are usually made of plastic these days. The example I am selling uses steel in those areas, and even goes as far as to memic SKS / AK-47 sights

In fact, adjusting the front sight even requires the same tool as the SKS and the AK-47.

Simply put, they do not make them like they used to.

This is now considered a collectable on the second hand market. Their prices are only going up, so get one while you still can for under $200.
