Y’all be careful using TGT! for sale in Houston Texas

I’ve been using TGT since 2010 and never had an experience like this. I just met this guy for my g17 and he drives up in white Mercedes. I get out and hand him the case to look and he puts the case in my hood in plain view. I tell him to step between the vehicles so he doesn’t pull a pistol out in a busy Home Depot parking lot. As I’m standing there I notice he has a bath towel over his license plate. I ask him why his license plate is covered and he says Huh? I asked again and same reply. So I immediately realize his driver door is open and I’m standing at his trunk and he’s at the front hood near the passenger side. I got a bad feeling he was about to run bc he wasn’t answering my question and playing stupid. So I run up to him with my hand on my pistol on my side and take the pistol case from him and he immediately goes full Karen mode “Why am I trying to shoot him” and “why do I have my gun on him”. Keep in mind my pistol never came out my waistband but my hand was on the grip but I never pulled it out. He says “but I got money fam” and I say “let me see it”. I stay facing him till he gets in his car and drives off. Nah! There’s no reason you cover your license plate with a bath towel unless you’re doing shady stuff! Im from around the way so I saw what he was trying to do. Honestly if it wasn’t for the towel I wouldn’t have batted an eye and made the sale. Now that I’m thinking about it, he must’ve stopped before he pulled up on me to put the towel over his plate, bc how is it gonna stay on and not fly off?? Man idk. I have my LTC and I have never had nothing worse than a red light ticket on my record. So any guns I may sell I will be meeting them in front of a police station. That was crazy!!!
