This is a model 1951 Beretta in excellent condition. It is an all steel pistol chambered in 9mm. The M1951 was the first model developed after WWII and was put into service to replace the outdated M1935 and was the first Beretta model chambered in 9mm. Many of the unique design features were carried over when they developed the M 92 years later. It was adopted by several branches of the Italian military as well as the state police. This one is marked “PS” for Polizia di Stato (Italian State Police). Several other countries adopted this model and a couple were licensed to produce it but this one is an original made in Italy by Pietro Beretta. This example is in excellent condition for the age. The bluing is in great shape with only a couple of small spots of holster wear. No cracks or dings in the grips, and the magazine is an original Beretta stamped mag. The bore is in excellent condition and there is a nice patina on the barrel, extractor, and hammer. $450
