The Benelli M1 (Super 90) is a semi-automatic shotgun manufactured by Benelli Armi S.P.A.. It is available in several versions for civilian, law enforcement and military use. It features the proprietary Benelli recoil system, known for its reliability and easy maintenance. Due to the inertia recoil system, the M1 shouldn’t have to use heavier loads to cycle properly, because the action is inertia driven vs. the traditional gas cycling operation it can fire and reliably cycle lighter loads. The ultra-reliable inertia system is low maintenance (unlike some of our significant others) and allows for reduced recoil as well. This Super 90 was imported by Heckler & Koch in 1995 and has been outfitted with an extended magazine tube and sling. If it’s good enough for the military, law enforcement, and professional competitors, it should do just fine defending your homestead. Please see our pictures and good luck.
