This is a Winchester manufactured British Enfield Pattern 14 No3 Mk 1* in excellent condition. These were manufactured by Winchester between 1915-1917 for World War One and saw service in World War Two and beyond. This rifle has a lot or cool proof marks and cartouches including the British broad arrow on the receiver and on the stock. This has a WW I period correct leather sling with brass button and brass buckle. This is an ALL numbers matching gun with NO import marks. Every part that I can find marked is original Winchester. It has not been deep cleaned, sanded or refinished. This was a G.I. bring back during the post-war occupation of Germany about 1947 (perhaps, German capture?). It is chambered in the original .303 British and has the base for the long range sight attachment on the left hand side of the stock. I have fired it a few times over the years with surplus ammo and it’s a good, solid shooter. It has been in the safe for about 40 years so don’t miss out on this rare piece to add to your WW I or WW II or British rifle collection. $2000 FIRM.
